The popularity of space sharing websites like Peerspace has made booking time in a studio or unique event space easier than ever. Here are 5 great tips to have a successful rental:

1. Book the time you need, then add a little more

Make sure you’re factoring in time for setup and cleanup. If you’re running long and need some more time, always be mindful that other people may have booked or reserved after you, so check with the staff before running over your scheduled end time. Conversely, don’t show up way early either! If you think you’ll need more time upfront to set up or prepare for your rental, book that time so it’s yours.

2. Keep in Close Communication

Be as responsive as possible to the venue or host’s questions when working out the details of your rental. Don’t withhold details about your event. They’re asking all these questions so that they can understand your goals while renting the space, and so they can work to help you achieve them successfully and with no stress...

3. Treat the space as if it were your own home

Keep it tidy, clean up messes, and do your best to avoid damage. If items need to be hung, liquids need to be used or anything you might think twice about doing in your own home, ask a staff member first!

4. Take a Tour

When making inquiries, ask if you can make a site visit before making a deposit or booking the space. At Rengo Studios, we actively encourage customers to come check out the space before booking, so they can explore, measure, photograph, ask questions and get their creative (and planning) juices flowing. Contact us today to set up a time to visit. You may think of something completely new and awesome during your visit that you wouldn’t otherwise have thought of.

5. Need equipment or supplies? Check with us first!

Rengo Studios is designed to be a one-stop shop for customers looking to put on a production or event. We have tables, chairs, cameras, lights, projectors and more. Before contacting three different party supply vendors around town, check with us first. If we don’t have it, we’ll do our best to get it for you and save you the hassle.
